What is Bioethanol Fireplace?

How are bio-fireplaces used?
The bio-fireplace has a tank inside which there is a ceramic fiber sponge which absorbs the fuel by separating it from the flame. This, absorbent core, creates a barrier between the flame and tank preventing them from coming into contact. Activating the bio-fireplace is simple, just insert the bioethanol inside the burner and light it with a long lighter (gas lighter) like a classic gas stove. Please note: “When the bio-fireplace is on, never pour in more bio-ethanol until it has cooled down”.
What is Bioethanol?
Bioethanol is an alcohol produced through a biomass fermentation process, i.e. agricultural products rich in sugar (carbohydrates) such as cereals, sugary crops, starch and pomace.
In short, it is an organic fuel with multiple uses. In fact, bioethanol is used as fuel in biofireplaces, which exploit its calorific value to heat rooms. The particularity of bioethanol is due to the fact that its combustion does not produce toxic fumes, only water vapor and heat, as well as a minimal dose of carbon dioxide, but in extremely small quantities.
Is the Bioethanol Fireplace Odorless?
Our bio-fireplaces are designed and built for optimal combustion. Bioethanol burns almost completely, releasing residual amounts of water vapor and carbon dioxide, which is virtually undetectable. Using high quality and certified bioethanol, biofireplaces do not emit unpleasant odours.
Do you need a chimney and electrical outlets?
The bio-fireplace doesn't need electricity, so it doesn't need any socket. When lit, it produces neither ash nor smoke and does not release substances toxic to health. For this reason there is no need to install any chimney. Furthermore, they do not require special cleaning other than normal cleaning with a damp cloth.
